Okay I now have it 24/7 and I HATE TUMS.
I've found its worse at night when trying to sleep. By accident, a couple evenings ago, I munched on Saltines before bed. That night I didn't have heartburn. Coincidence? Maybe but I've been having a couple at night and still feeling the success. Just thought I would pass this along.

2Hi,
had 4 babies now ages 9 - 19. try ginger tea or ginger ale. If the bubbles bother you, drink it flat. The ginger is a great stomach/heartburn soother. Also if you can keep something small in your stomach all the time (like have a cracker when you get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom) it will help ease your heartburn a little too. 4I kept a bottle of mint flavored Mylanta in the fridge. I would drink straight from the bottle
